Moroccan mint tea: a ritual of welcome
In Morocco, a guest is always welcomed with tea. More than a drink, mint tea is a gesture of hospitality, shared slowly, several glasses at a time.
How it is made
Green tea is rinsed, then brewed with a generous handful of fresh mint and sugar. The tea is poured from high above into small glasses to create a light foam, then poured back into the teapot and served again.
A moment to share
Tea is served after meals, in the afternoon, when visitors arrive: it is an invitation to sit down and talk.

At Dar Amna
Pour mint tea for everyone under the olive trees, as the afternoon light softens: it is one of the simplest pleasures of a stay at the villa.
