Marrakech in spring: gardens in bloom
Ask locals about the best time of year and many will say spring. From March to May, Marrakech is in bloom and the light is soft and golden.
The weather
Days are warm and sunny without the summer heat; evenings are cool enough for a light jacket. It is perfect weather for long walks in the Medina and lunches outdoors.
Flowers everywhere
Orange trees blossom in the city and roses open in the gardens. At Dar Amna, the rose bushes and rosemary-lined paths are at their most fragrant.
The Atlas still white
Early spring often keeps snow on the highest peaks, a beautiful contrast with the green valleys below. It is a lovely season for the Ourika Valley and walks in the mountains.

Spring, and the Easter holidays in particular, is one of the most requested periods. If you have dates in mind, request your stay early.
